Cheres collegues,

It is at this crucial moment in our professional and academic lives that we are compelled to spend an inordinate amount of time and energy on the joyful, yet completely unrealistic pursuit of accruing a TOTAL KNOWLEDGE OF FRENCH LITERATURE within a year's time. We each count ourselves fortunate to be in the company of 5 others who are just as crazy as we are. This is a spot where we will be able to hash out our problems with texts, think & write before we speak, and go back to as often as we like for inspiration and reference.
